Mr. Jim Calloway is interviewed by Paula Shannon and Anita Lamberth on August 15th, 2019. Jim talks about growing up in Springfield and then moving back to Portland his freshman year of high school. Jim taught in Portland a couple of times over his career and was Mayor of Portland from 2001 - 2005. His interest in history has led him to be involved in many projects here in Portland, including the Portland Historical Society at the school which translated into the Highland Historical Society. Jim was also the Sumner County Bicentennial Chairman.
